'At Sea'

As part of the project Hold the Line, Freya Gabie spent a month aboard the Dr Fridtjof Nansen in 2018, a marine biological research vessel led by the Norwegian Institute for Marine Research, sailing down the south western African coastline.

Throughout the journey, Freya draw and wrote postcards as a form of expanded journal to document her time at sea, these were so sent to different people across the world.

In 2019 the postcards were temporarily sent to the Danielle Arnaud Gallery to be exhibited together for the first time.
